Post Duan Wu Jie

Yesterday, i went to Soo Hui's house to do Zhong Zhi with some friends! Is a late zhong zhi but we enjoyed the process of doing it.

As most of us is our first time to deal with Zhong Zhi, only 1 of us who only bao zhong zhi with her mother in law, so we are pretty scared that the things will be ruined!

And for me, till the end of the day, my zhong zhi still don't look good. And no matter how much ingredients i put in, the zhong zhi still look so small!! And I still don't really know how to tie the zhong zhi to the strings using the standard way. Like experts, they can tie the zhong zhi just circle the zhong zhi with a few rounds and is tied! But for me, i have to tie the zhong zhi up,down, left and right and the zhong zhi might not be tied still! Arragh! Will do it again next year and get it right!!

After boiling for 2 hours, we are thrilled to see our finished goods! Although the taste is abit bland but consider tis as our first time doing it, we are still happy with it!

And we have planned to do Moon Cake for this coming 8th month. So do look forward to it!!
