Milestones for ReAnne -- 4 - 6 mths

Four months

• Holds head up steadily --- No problem on this!!
• Can bear weight on legs -- Yes!
• Coos when you talk to him -- Yes, she likes to talk! Might be a talkative gal next time!
• Can grasp a toy -- She will even throw the toy away
• Reaches out for objects -- Yes, especially if is FOOD!
• Can roll over -- No problem on both side
• Imitates speech sounds: baba, dada -- She talks alot but don't think is imitating our sound
• May cut first tooth -- Not Yet! Still waiting for it

Five months

• Can distinguish between bold colors -- hmm...don't think so!
• Can roll over -- Yes!
• Amuses himself by playing with hands and feet -- Ya, she did play with her hands and feets. Favourite is to put them into her mouth
• Turns towards new sounds -- Yes, i think she like music and all sorts of sounds!
• Recognizes own name -- Yes, she can recognize ReAnne and Baby
• May sit momentarily without support -- Not yet!
• Mouths objects -- Well, she put all things into her mouth
• Stranger anxiety may begin -- Ya, i think she has this. She will cry when someone else carry her and cannot see me around!
• May be ready for solids -- Look like she loves food but got to wait till 6mth old!!

Six months

• Turns towards sounds and voices -- Yup
• Imitates sounds blows bubbles -- This is her favourite hobby "Blow bubbles"
• Rolls in both directions -- Easy for her!
• Reaches for objects and mouths them -- Favourite!
• Sits without support -- Can but still need supervision!
• Is ready for solids -- Been waiting for it all along
• May lunge forward or start crawling -- Been crawling the "Comandor" style
• May babble or combine syllables -- Don't sound like any
• May drag object towards himself -- Yes!

Swim Swim Swim

On Sunday, we finally brought her to the pool for her first dip.

This Swimming diapers are specially flew in from Singapore by Alfred's supplier!

As we are not able to find any in JKT!

All set ready to go for swimming!

See how super duper good mood she is!! =) She loves swimming!
We thought she will probably cry just like what happen at the Baby Spa but no, she enjoy the water!!


Not too bad for a first timer ya??

We let her play for only about 10mins.
As the water is not very good for her delicate skin so once a week 10mins will do!

I Like Gym

We brought ReAnne to a baby gym call " I Like Gym"

Basically is for her to crawl around, mix with other babies and have fun.

Preparing to go out for class!

She is still in happy mode!!
Just before the class start, I brought her in to get used to the environment first.
She was doing pretty well initally and enjoyed the welcome song and warm up.

BUT!

Once more and more babies came in, she started to be cranky!

AND

She cried almost the whole session!!

I think she is just not used to the environment with so many people!

We will continue to look at other schools and probably sign up 1 for her to mix around with people if not i think she will end up very "Gu Pi" in the end.

I can Sit le!!

Woohoo!! Today ReAnne finally able to sit by herself but of cos with me around!
Now she will tend to push my hands away when I put her in sitting position and balance herself!!

ReAnne's 1st Swim!!

Been wanting to bring ReAnne to swim ever since she touched her 6mths. But as we are not able to get any Swimming diaper here (Don't know how the kids here swim without any swimming diaper!!) we been delaying it till now.

Today we brought her to Spa Baby, something like "Hua Xia" in sg for her first dip into the "Pool" which is actually a big sink!

Before we go, better make sure this little gal gets her milk and her snacks!!

She munching her biscuits while we "Enjoying" our lunch!

Spa Baby

This place provides Aqua Swim, Massage,Masks and even medicure and pedicure.

While waiting for our turn, some camwhoring!!

Still in joyful mode till ...........

After a while, using all the toys to distract her, she get slightly better

But it did not last long. So in the end, she only swim for less than 10mins.

I think she is just not comfortable with the float around her neck as she is not able to see her fingers bah!

Hopefully she will enjoy swimming in real pool more!

Yum Yum

It been almost 2 wks since ReAnne starts on her semi solid food.
So far, she tried Oatmeal Cereal, Apple and Butternut PumpKin.

Her favourite is Butternut Pumpkin!

Initially, I start her with cereal and puree for lunch. Then I add fruits for her in early evening. Indeed, she can poo so much better after eating fruits and now she can poo poo everyday!

Next on the list will be Avocado!

"Gei Sai"

Since ReAnne is 2mths old, she is not that type of baby that will poo everyday!

Is pretty normal as baby can don't poo up to 2 wks long (According to a PD)

So after she starts her soild food, she seems to have difficulties in shitting. Even though her shits are not hard just more sticky than her usual poo

I'm feeding her more water now so hopefully she can get used to it and poo better!

Alfred's 1st Father's Day

On this special day, our initial plan was to bring ReAnne for her first dip but Ms Rain decided to join us and spoilt our plan!

So we just laze at home and relax.

Well afterall is a good weather to stay home!

Me decided to cook Hainanese Chicken Rice and settle our "Deal" today. (If you are not sure what deal I'm talking about, please refer back to my old post on Nasi Lemak!)

Back to the chicken rice, this time round I do not have our last "guest" to decide the vedict and my only guest refuse to be in camera!!

But this is what my guest commented:-

Mr A: "Not Bad!蛮好吃的!!

Why my rice so little!?!?"

( he is trying to cut down his portion nowadays!)

Me: " You say enough just now!!"

In the end, he ate 2 plates of rice and

Choo Choo Train

On her 6th Mth birthday, we also took her go take her 1st train ride.

Well actually she is too small to know what she is taking, i think is just like a car ride in a shopping mall. haha

But just take it as an experience bah!

=)

Her daddy will sure bring her go take the train again when she is older!!

ReAnne is 6th Mth Old le

Today marks ReAnne going into her 6th Mth. And also marks me Total Breastfeed her till date.

Times really flies!

We let her have her 1st taste of semi solid food - Cereal

as a mini celebration for her!

I think the cereal might be too diluted. So pretty difficult to put in her mouth or she is still not ready?

Well, she still finished almost half the portion I prepared.

2 tsp +30ml of FBM

Lets see if she will eat more tomorrow!

A Hungry Baby is An Angry Baby!!

This always happen when ReAnne sees food nowadays.

I think she will be a 贪吃"妞" next time!!

WaterBom

On Saturday, Since alfred is not working, we dated our cousin and bring the kids to Waterbom.

WaterBom is something like our Wild Wild Wet in singapore.

This is only a small part of Waterbom for small kids.

As i need to look after all the belongings, did not manage to walk to other parts to take photos.

According to Alfred, there are a few more higher slides but not too scary as is not too fast! So Darrel did try everything except the highest slide.

The kids enjoyed themselves very much!!

Mac Breakfast!!

You must be thinking what's so special about Mac Breakfast.

This is so special because Jakarta just launced Mac Breakfast!! They used to serve only their lunch menu.

So being very excited, we choose a very nice and new mac to enjoy our Mac Breakfast!

We enjoyed so much that we went there 2 days in a row!!

And this is what will happen when the ReAnne is determine on something!!

Grandma was here!!

Grandma was here over last weekend with Da Gu, Darrel GouGou and Lingxuan JieJie.

Actually intending to go safari, but on the way there, super duper jam so we got no choice but to turn back. As we forsee we will be stuck in the jam for another 2-3hrs.

Lesson Learnt: Never go to safari during public holiday!!

So in the end we went shopping center so gougou and jie jie can go Timezone!!

Darrel GouGou is still here for another 2 weeks for "intensive training" aka study week and we are going Waterboom on saturday!!

Yeah, will try to take more photos!! =)

ReAnne Crawling!!

Now our little princess can crawl much faster now.

Although she is still crawling in commander style but i'm sure she will be able to crawl in her all 4s pretty soon!!

Finally Moving Forward

Phew, after some time of moving backwards, ReAnne is finally learning to move forward!!

I think very soon she will be crawling around the house le.

We are getting prepared for that!!

Now she can roll over in 2 ways already!!

5th Mth Assesment

Over the weekend, we brought ReAnne to the PD for her injection again. She is 6.725kg and 62cm now. Her growing is slightly below average!! Arragh, even though she is having her supper regularly doesn't seem to help her to grow more!!

The PD said she is slightly below average but maybe also because she follows the geneatic of us, like me!! Oh no, I don't want my ReAnne to be a Shortie!!! She is so much shorter and slimmer compare to Reia Jie Jie who is 67cm, 7.2kg in her 5th Mth!!

Next time must make her jump 100 times everyday to grow taller! Wahahaha
