ReAnne's Tooth Chart (Updated)

More and more teeth erupting, no wonder our princess is not sleeping well at night!!

Hoe all these will end soon so we can all sleep well at night!! =)

Summer Break

As ReAnne is 18th Mths now, we actually thought that is time to enrol her to school.

Let her be more independent and can learnt something from school.

Maybe just 2-3 hours in school without Mummy.

And lastly Mummy can have some breather!

So I brought her to this school call Tutor Time for a trial.

This school is recommended so we actually got quite high expectation for it.

The Class suppose to start at 8.30am.

But when we are there, only a few students reach.

So is actually free play for the students while waiting for the rest.

Is pretty chaos in the morning, as there are kids crying and teachers trying to sother them while looking after the rest.

My little princess actually was not affected by them as she got her mummy around playing with her.

By 9am, the teachers start to bring the kids to the playground. Which actually is just outside their classroom! Very convinence!

The kids just walk out and play on their own. While the teacher still coax 2-3 kids who are still crying. (Apparently 1 of the kids who is the youngest of them all cried almost the whole 3hrs)

As for ReAnne, she stand there and observe the kids for quite some time before she decided to pull me along to join them.

After about 30-45mins, the teachers brought the kids to the music room.

Where they will play with some music instruments and sing songs.

(2-3 kids start to cry as they don't want to leave the playground)

After 20mins of music session, we walked down to the classroom and teacher brought the kids to wash their hands and get ready for snacks.

This girl really no shy, keep having 2,3 or even 4th helping of cakes!!

The rest of the kids all pretty quiet only ReAnne keep shouting "I want more!! I want more!!"

(Don't know whether to laugh or hide myself!!)

After snacks, the teacher will bring the kids to go wash hand.

And then the kids will stay at the play area and play themselves while 1 of the teacher will start to change diaper and clothes for the kids.

For this, they are really particular and careful on the cleanliness after each kid. Which is something and only thing I like!!

After the long diaper changing, is finally art and craft time.

They prepared a paper ball. So the teacher will put some glue on it and let the kids paste some ribbon and foil on it.

After Art & Crafts, is hand washing again and getting ready for 2nd snacks!

And then is goodbye song .

Basically, I feel is pretty useless to send ReAnne to this school.

There are no group activities, no story time and the kids are just playing on their own!!

So is really a child care center! Where there are people to look after the kids for the parents.

Moreover, I see the youngest kid cried almost the whole day, I cannot imagine or bear my princess to go through that.

So till I find something really good for her, I shall keep her with me!!

A Day out!

Brought ReAnne to the shopping mall for a walk!

Her mood is good enough to let me shoot a few good shots!! =)

Our Lil princess is 18th Mths old!

Another 6mths will be 2years old!!

Time flies!

Should I throw a party for her or not!?!?

At 18th Mths old, I can feel the Terrible Two coming!!

Stubborn girl who will still tend to use her wine or even cry to get what she wants!!

Trying to ignore her whenever she uses her power weapons!!

At least when I know she is Wrong and I'm Right!!

But nevertheless, she's still my sweet little baby!!

Outdoor Activity in the afternoon

Now I will try to make it a point to bring ReAnne go down to the playground.

She loves going down!!

She enjoyed playing the slides, sea saw, running around or just stand there and watch the older kids chasing each other.

5th jun:

today is just like another sunday...

we went to Gandaria mall to have our brunch..dim sum !! This restaurant got a big fish aquarium and Reanne always likes to go and look at the fishes inside....

After eating, we decided to stroll awhile before doing our grocery...

Reanne as usual is ahead of us, enjoying the vast space of the mall.... as me and Roanna is holding our hands walking along, she turns back and sees us.. running back towards our direction, she comes in between us and spilt our hands, and held her left hand to her right and her right hand to my left....... me and roanna look at each other and just smile.... unlike a few months back, her actions will be, grab our hands together and she will just walk away by herself.....this time round, she wants to be in between us and hold our both of our hands.........

Dinner, we decided to go out and eat 1 of the famous malaysian food ... but due to our indecessive minds, we only decided to go after Reanne had her dinner.....

We ordered :tissue prata (so reanne and eat also), chay kuay teow, asem laksa, mixed fired veggi with balacean. chendol, ice milk tea and soy milk..... sounds alot right for 2 adult and a toddler. !!!! its really alot.....

Reanne was jumping and walking around, exploring the new place (as usual) while we feed her a mouth of prata when she comes around our table.... half way through, while she is eating the prata, she choke on it.. and her face redden... Roanna went over and give her a pat on her back.. trying to make her feels better.....

As we want to put her down into the baby chair, she cough again... then quickly, i took her over from Roanna's arms and put her over my shoulder and pat her back... seconds later, the worst happens......She throw out (second time with me carrying her).....

My shirt was ruin...

Without waiting, i bring her to the toilet and clean her up (lucky she was not dirtied by the vomit) i was the only one that "Kenna". I tired to wash away the smell and used the hand dryer to dried my shirt... After 15min, my shirt is half dry and the smell is still there :( ......

Roanna: What happen ? Why so long ? She vomit again huh?

Alf: Long meh? I clean her up, then clean myself, wash away the vomit and got to blow dry my shirt ma..... like this long meh ??

Roanna: Oh okioki... then faster eat...

The stench really spoilt my appetite.... so after awhile....

Alf: I think i need to go buy a shirt... its so smelly !!! (the vomit was on on left shoulder and drip all the way to my tummy area)

Roanna: DUN NEED LA ... eat finished then we will go back la......

After 10min, we call for bill and ready to go....

As we walk towards the escalator (i was infront and Roanna with Reanne behind me), i start to turn back ....

Roanna: What happen??

Alf: Escalator was full of people.. i so smelly how to take with them !!

Roanna: hahaha.... the movie just ended.. thats why la..hehehehe....... then hw?? take lift lagi worst right ?!! (still laughing)

Alf: Take the other escalator la ........ :(

Alf: How come your hair like abit different from what she describle??

Raonna: Ya lor.. i also think so.... but its still nice :p

Alf: Ya ya .. not bad.

Alf: Should we go Grand indonesia? Since there is a sales going on.. and Husen is already in today....

Roanna: okioki... but u dun need to study meh ??

** Mummy's New Hairstyle **

In the mall, we put Reanne into the stroller so that we can walk without carrying her....

Roanna: Dun need to strap her meh ?

Alf: Dun need la.. if you strap her, she wont sit long la....

Roanna: Escalator how ? she will stand up leh !!!

Alf: wont la.. i will look after her.... no worries....

Towards the end of the day, thing happens while we are travelling up the escalator....

Reanne wanting to stand up cos she finished her french fries that was in her hand.... i panic and tried to hold her down... and i think i hurt her arms using too much strength. Immediately she scream and cry out in pain.. seconds later, we are off the escalator...

Roanna: What happen? Holding Reanne on her arms...

Alf: She wanted to stand up just now....!! (Reanne still crying nonstop) and i think i use too much strength while trying to hold her down.

she finally stop crying when Roanna offer her another fries... i tried talking to her and apologise for applying too much strength on her, but she just keep looking away... finally we put her back into the stroller and walk off..........

We decided to cross the road to the opposite building for dinner,,, and this is where the most hurting thing happens.....

Alf: I will carry her.. u push the stroller...

Roanna: oki...

Daddy: Reanne.... daddy carry oki.. (extending my arms to her)?? but she just sit there, not moving a single bite !!! Worst still ...HER EYE BALLS ARE NOT LOOKING AT ME... SHE IS LOOKING SIDE WAYS in the other direction.... i move my body to the direction she is looking at and she turns her head to the opposite direction and look away.....

Alf: Dear.. she is angry with me ... she is not looking at me....

My desperate attempt was of course to grab her out from her stroller and carry her.. but when i went in to carry her by force, she scream and cry..... finally, Roanna took over.. and at instant, she stop crying...

Alf: Dear... she is really angry with me.... how?? how??

5min later, we reach the opposite building... and when Roanna put her down, i went over and wanted to hold her hands (usually she will let me) but this time round she wouldnt want... when i tired to grab her hand, she will just brush off ...

Alf: Dear .. she is really angry with me... she dun want to look at me, and now she dun want me to hold her hand....

Roanna: Reanne.........

But good thing is, children like Reanne, they are easy to cox...

so finally i offer her another french fries... when she took the fries from my hands, i knew that she already forgiven me and then i went on to hold her little fingers and we stroll to the restaurant for our dinner..... :)

Guest Post :- 4th Jun - Part 1

5th Jun 2011, 2145hrs.

Alf: Dear, you should update your blog.....

Ro: Nothing to blog leh....

that's why i decided to jump in and write on some of my recent observations.....

Since this week is a pretty short week, I am able to spend more time with Reanne (Thursday is a holiday and Sat is a non working day). Realise that she have indeed grown up fast, other than getting very active (seldom want us to carry when we are outside), she seems to have built her own views on how she want to get things done and what she want and also she starts to develop temper.. i mean real temper not throwing tantrums kind.....

4th Jun 2011 - Part 1

Since today is a non working day, we actually decided to go out have b/f then come back home and then follow by dinner outside. But dun know why Husen (our driver) came in today and all our plans changed.

We still go ahead and went to MacDonalds to have our breakfast...

After that Roanna decided to go to have a haircut..... since Reanne is oki with just me around her, I said to Roanna:

ALF : Why dun you just take your time and do what you want to do, i will bring Reanne home and take care of her. I will ask Husen to send me back, then he can come and pick u up when u r done.

Roanna: Are u sure??

Alf : NP...

Roanna: oki .. then i will do my pedicure also :)

After telling the hairdresser how she wants her haircut to be liked (still it turns out not exactly what we expected,,, but still nice :) ), i headed home with Reanne.

In the car:

Reanna: Mummy .... Mummy

Daddy: You want mummy?? Mummy is cutting her hair... she will be back soon oki ! Daddy will stay with you.....

Reanne: I want mummy... I want mummy.......

5mins later, she falls aslp....

Upon reaching home, I put her onto bed, and waste no time in preparing her lunch... Porridge cook with pork and oyster soup......spent 10min in the preparation. After that i took my gears and dash into the bathroom for a quick shower... it was really a "QUICK" one, as worrying that Reanne might wake up anytime...... less than 3min, i was out. Went in to have a peek, she is still napping soundly.

I went back to the kitchen to check out her lunch ... the porridge is cooking well and all was in control :) . Got back to my lecture notes to try to study (already failed to study for the past 2days and exam is on the 11th jun !!! )

20 min later......

Mummy...mummy... mummy.......

Reanne wakes up from her beauty slp... and time to have lunch ..... (Roanna is still not back).

Reanne: I want feed,,.,,, I want feed.....

Daddy: You want to feed yourself ??

Reanne: Nodding her head......

She can feed herself with both her left and right hands... impressive (at least i think so)..! hahaha and the only time she let me help her is when she cant scope up the porridge from the bowl. 15min later, she finished her lunch and I proceed to bath her.

Reanne: Bubble ... bubble..... while holding her bathing pail with her arms....

Daddy: You want to play bubble ??

Reanne: Nodding her head.....

I made her her favourite bubble bath with her own aroma therapy shower gel.....

While bathing her, i took her bubble gun and creates some bubbles for her... seeing these bubbles flows down from above, she keeps shouting

Bubble... bubble... bubble... of course with a wide smile on her face :)))

Bali Getaway - Day 3 (Back to JKT)

Last day at Bali, we basically do nothing and just relax in the hotel!

Early morning swimming is still a must for our princess.

She LOVES Swimming!

After swimming, the princess has her own personal entertainer!!

An Entertainer who will do anything just to make his princess smile!

Before we leave, the princess even had her first private pool lesson by her darling daddy!

3 Days 2 Night Bali Trip just end in a flash!!
I miss my Babi Guling!!

Bali Getaway - Day 2

Holiday is all about waking up late and laze on a cold and comfy bed!!

2nd day of bali, no particular plans where to go.

We just want to relax in the room, bring our lil princess to the pool and beach!!

Right after our breakfast, we went straight to the pool before the sun gets high up in the sky!!

For lunch, we ordered room service for her!
Most of the Bali Hotels have Kids Menu!
So we ordered Maccaroni Cheese and a Vegetable soup for her!

Maccaroni Cheese is really yummy but the serving is too big for ReAnne!

As for us, we ate Babi Guling!!

The local will roast the pig with herbs and seasonings.

Then they will separate the skin and the meat!

The skin is really crispy and fragant while the meat is very soft!

Eat it with the chili provided and i bet you will never forget the taste!!

Although I been to Bali a few times, but this is the first time I tried it and hook with it!!

So we ate this 2 times in a roll!!

And I'm missing Babi Guling NOW!!!

Ok, back to the trip.

After resting and playing awhile in the room,

we brought our princess to the beach!!

Thinking that all kids will love beach!!

The sand, sea, seashells , etc.....

(We even brought her toys to build sand castle)

BUT we are so WRONG!!

Princess does not like it at all!!

In fact she doesn't even want to touch the Sand!!

So in the end, we can only carry her in our arms and take photos!

And for our dinner, we tabao our favourite Jimbaran Seafood again!!

So you know how yummy this is for us to eat it everytime we go or even everyday!!

Cuta version of "喜怒哀乐"

Bali Getaway - Day 1

Since there is a long weekend for indonesia as well, we decided to bring our lil princess to Bali!!

Main motive is to bring her go swim and play with sand!!

**Jkt Airport** Once we reached Bali, we never waste any time and went to Jimbaran for the ever famous and really delicious Seafood lunch!!
There are alot of stalls over there but we always go Menega Cafe!

This place is usually pack with lots of people in the evening time where you can see beautiful sunset!

So there were not many people when we were there for lunch!

** Grilled Fish, Coconut Drink, Fried Kangkong (non spicy for ReAnne), Grilled Prawns and last but not least my favourite Grilled Clams with special sauce**

For this trip, our darling "Boss" booked Westin Hotel for our 3Days 2Nights stay.

He specially booked this for our princess as this hotel have their own beach and they have wave breaker!

So the sea is very calm safe for our princess to walk at the beach!

After taking some photos, we went straight to the pool!

After swimming, our princess is still very active!

She loves every bit of the room!!

The cold aircon, the cooling bedsheets, soft pillows, sofa, bathtub and the lists go on and on.

So it was difficult to get her take her nap when we are in the room!

She only fell asleep when we go out!!

Dinner we went to Bali Cliff

It was used to be a very beautiful beach (according to Alfred) but the beach was ruined by the waves!!

What a pity!

It really look very pretty from the top of the cliff!

They have just built wave breaker. Hopefully this beach can go back to their original beauty soon!!

For the time being, this place is not worth to go!!

Dinner was so-so! No need to elaborate!!

We ended our day drinking by the beach enjoying the sea breeze!!
