ReAnne's Yummy Meals

Bought this box of Brown Rice Pasta Stars for ReAnne from Singapore.
Wanted to cook something different as I think porridge is getting so boring.

I cook it with carrots, peas, fish and stock.
I think it taste good as ReAnne finished it!!
Some other meals I cook for her:

I will usually use Vegetables Stock, Chicken Stock or Pork Stock to cook her porridge. It will make meals more delicious and "Tasty".
I will cook the stock every week and freeze the stock for daily use.

Mid Autumn Festival 2010

This year is ReAnne's 1st time celebrating 中秋节.
And she got her 1st lantern from her 婆婆!
After our dinner, we brought her down for a walk, with the lantern of course.
We actually thought that we are probably the only ones that are walking with our lanterns but surprisingly, there are some other people too!

Oh well, is abit miserable with that few people but then again it did help to make us feel more like we are celebrating 中秋节.
And the kids are even more interested in ReAnne's lantern than theirs as our Princess's lantern can blow bubbles, have colourful lights and have loud music(Despite me taping some scotchtape over the speaker)
** ReAnne's thoughts: " The selfish daddy n mummy never even let me taste the mooncakes! Only ask me to take photo with the box!!" **

Tokyo Day 5 & 6 - Hotel & Airplane

Day 5, we are supposed to go DisneySea but our little princess is having fever so we stayed in the hotel.
Beside feeling sleepy because of the medicine, our princess is still behaving very normal!
She smile, eat and drink as per normal.
Oh she just want her Mummy to carry thou!
Day 6, leaving Tokyo going back to Singapore!!
This round we took a Day flight!!
Wrong choice of flight as our little princess is very alert!
She refuse to sleep in her bassinet, so I have to carry her and let her nap!
During the flight, we have to carry and walk around as she is making a fuss!!
So parents out there, do remember to take an overnight flight if you are taking plane with your little ones!!

Tokyo Day 4 - Disneyland

Disneyland, here we come!!
We were quite lucky as the day we went is the first day of their Halloween theme!!

But the con is, there are alot ....alot and alot of people!!

真是人山人海!!
As ReAnne is still too young for most of the rides, we were in there walking around and taking photos most of the time!

And we fly all the way to Tokyo, how can we forget to take a family photo with our Tokyo Castle! =P
The King Alf, Queen Na & Princess Reanne!!

Tokyo Disneyland is the 3rd Disneyland I been to and I must say, this is the only 1 that I can actually feels Disney!!
Do not understand what I mean?!
Take a look at my photos below!!
The Japs really so enthu right?
Most of them wore all the different Disney costumes to Disney!!
There are Cinderella and the step sisters, Donald Ducks, Mickey, Minnie and I even saw a group of people in 7 dwarfs costumes!!
Somemore now is Summer!! And they wore those thick costumes walking around!!
Really "Pei Fu" them!!
My gal also not bad, if you see clearly she is wearing a Minnie Mouse Romper!!
We went to Mickey Mouse's House to take photo with him!

And this ReAnne got scare when she see him and cry!!
Lucky the people there must have experience this before and quicky ask us to knee infront and take photo with Mickey standing behind us!

1 of the rides that we took is this Carousel.

It started pretty well but before it really started, ReAnne starts to whine and she whine till the end of the ride!
The 2nd and last ride ReAnne took is this Jumbo Ride!!

Must be wondering where is ReAnne....She is hiding beside her daddy's side!!
Here is she!!

She did cry abit during the ride as well! But i guess not too bad thou.

Now is just more photos and photos!!

** My Strong Gal **

** My Funny Hubby **

Lastly, how can we forget to go to Disney shop and take photos with their pretty hats and hairbands!!
And we end our day watching the fireworks!

Tokyo Day 3 - Sensoji Temple & More Shopping

Day 3 will be travelling around by public transport, Train
Really got to salute the Japanese!! They are all very organise, friendly and Entu in their jobs.
They queue at the door even before the train is here and even the toilet cleaners are so friendly.
They greet everybody who go to the toilet with smiles on their face!!
And I will only see grumbly toilet cleaners in Singapore!!
When will Singapore be like these??
Anyway back to the Train taking, I get to sit at the priority area of the train which japanese seperated it with the normal seats for old people, handicapp, pregnant ladies and people with small kids!
Oh, another point to add! In the train, everyone is very quiet! Nobody talk as HPs are required to be put in silent mode! So you will only see people sending sms.
How nice and considerate!
We went to Sensoji Temple, 1 of the popular and tourist attraction in Tokyo.
It was raining when we reached so no choice but to get an umbrella (And I forget to bring it back to SG!! =( )

After temple visiting, is more shopping again!
At night, 3 of us decided to try the Token Noodles!!
Well never try it before so how can we skip it!!
1st, decide on what noodles you want to eat den buy the token.
2nd, give the token to the order man, and he will ask what types of noodles you want.
3rd, wait for the noodles and than sit and eat!!
LAstly, take the empty plates and tray back to them
Easy!!
And the ramen is not too bad!!
I realise japanese usually do things alone!
Even eating!!
In the restaurant, mostly are 1 seater types and people usually go eat alone and go!
Like so Gu Pi!!
=P

Tokyo Day 2 - Mt Fuji, He Ping Park & Gotemba Premium Outlets

Day 2 was a tiring day as we are planning to go Mt Fuji & Premium Outlets.
Lucky is we rented a mini bus and a tour guide to bring us around.

So timing is pretty flexible as only us in the tour! -)

1st stop will be Mt Fuji!

After about 2 hours of bus ride, we reached MtFuji Viewing Point which is the foot of the magnificant volcano.

P/s: For those who don't know, Mt Fuji is actually a merger of 5 small volcanoes

After that you still need another 30mins drive to reach the look out area!
Is very cold up there and we went up unprepared!!
We were all in summer outfits while the people there are in autumn wears!!

So no choice but to cover my lil gal in my nursing cover to keep her warm!
Oh ya, anothing thing about japan is their ice cream is very nice!!
The milk they use are just so different!!
(外国的月亮总是比较圆)
And we are having holiday so how can I resist not to let my gal try their ice cream.....
And I tell you, she loves it!!
She keep crying for it so i got no choice to walk away and "swallow" everything.
Somewhere near the look out, there is this small temple.
Although is small but is still pack with alot of tourists!

After Mt Fuji, the tour guide insisted to bring us to this 和平公园.
The main objective is to see this 白塔.
This is actually a gift from Thailand to Japan.
And in this park, there are a total of 33 Guan Yin Status

And Last stop is Shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlets.

But seriously nothing much to buy as the things there are still expensive!

Tokyo Day 1 - Airport & Shinjuku

For this year Hari Raya, we went to Tokyo for a last minute short getaway.
6hours of long flight with an infant is no joke!!
Especially with a loud voice baby!!
So we prepared alot of things for her Biscuits, toys, drinks, Iphone, PSP .....
Anything that I can think of that can keep her entertain, I brought them on plane.

Our (or to say ReAnne and ME) 1st time flying from Terminal 3 so camwhoring is a Must!

Lucky we took an overnight flight to Tokyo so ReAnne sleep through or at least with min destruction the whole flight.

And both of us watch shows throughout the flight!

Once we reach Narita Airport, we bought tickets for the coach to bring us to our hotel, Keio Plaza Hotel at Shinjuku Area.

The Weather is super hot!
Imagine the temperature is already 32.9 degree in the morning!!
And we got to queue for our coach in the hot sun!!
1st day, not much program just walking around Shinjuku area and taking photos!!
