Another milestone met at 3Mths 3Wks 3 Days old

She been trying hard to flip these days. But she only manage to flip to her side and need a little help from me to flip to her tummy.

But today, she really flipped!! I saw she trying there for a few times and manage to record her 1st flip!!

Now that she knows how to flip, she will keep flipping once I put her on the play mat.

After a while, she will just cry for me and i will got to help her lie to her back and then she will flip again. This will go on a few times till she is tired!

This is really a very good belated birthday present from her to me!!

Now that she can flip, we have to be very careful with her when she is on the bed!

ReAnne's Big Laugh

Good Friday = Holiday !!

On Good Friday, we went out to have lunch at a pretty nice place before we went for our window shopping!

And when i'm bored in the afternoon, i will make my little model wear some new clothes and let me take photos. =PHmm... still don't understand why she look so "tan"?!?! arragh...could it be the milo that i drink during pregnancy?!?!

Whatever is it, Mdm Tan, if you are reading this, pls dun drink milo ok! Just in case!! haha

Thumb Thumb or Pacifier!?!?!

The more i don't want her to suck thumb thumb or eat pacifier like her daddy and mummy, the more she desire to have it. haiz...

She been sucking her thumb thumb lately. We been trying to prevent it or take it out of her mouth. At times, she might just continue to try to put it in, at times she will just get frustrated and cry out loud!

So, in the end mummy thought pacifier might be a better choice for thumb thumb. As you can throw away the pacifier but cannot throw away the thumb. And when she starts to crawl around, I do not want her to put her dirty hand inside her mouth.

But, she don't like the pacifier. Don't know whether is the brand of the pacifier or she just prefer her thumb.

Arragh, so we are back to continue to prevent her putting her thumb in.

Even though it means longer time needed to put her to sleep or more time to pacify her, I hope we can really kick the habit of sucking thumb thumb!!

She FLIP!!!!

Yes!! I mean no other people but ReAnne.
She was happily doing her tummy exercise on the playmat.

So I quickly ran to the room to take my camera, AND when I'm back, she is already on her BACK!!

Arragh, I missed her flip!!!
And when i put her back to her tummy again, she refuse to flip le!!
I hope this "Flip" is not she accidentally fall on her back!!
haha!!

Grocery Shopping!

We went grocery shopping at carrfour over the weekend.

Was pretty amazed that the have a trolley specially for customers with babies.

Just nice for us.

Wipe the seat and then we can put ReAnne down.

She loves shopping. Her eyes are so busy. Keep looking right and left!

Must bring her out more often!

ReAnne's 1st Flight -- To JKT!!

Our initial plans was to fly to Jkt together with Alfred after his trip to Thailand on 21st March.
But because of the Red shirts, his trip was cancelled and we got to fly back last minute together with him.

We were not prepared at all. So we just pack our clothes or rather ReAnne's clothes and things in a rush.

She got 1 whole luggage full of her clothes and 1 carton (Long Carton) full of her barangs barangs!

Luckily the carton came out with only a bit of torn. I'm so worried the whole carton is going to give way as Alf keep putting things in it.

For the flight, I will say she is still pretty good.

She fell aslp while landing and departing. (Which i actually intend to feed her. But she sleeps so soundly that no matter how I wake her also cannot wake her up)

But she will just wake up once the safety belt light is off.

She is just like a Queen on the flight. We let her do everything she wants and thats include her favourite sucking of thumb thumb which we always object.

She did cry abit but i will still say bearable.

You all should know if she really scream in the flight, nobody can stand.

So now, we shall start our lifes in Jakarta!!

ReAnne is 3 Month Old Le!!!

Brought ReAnne for her 3mth old assessment and injections.

She got her 2nd injection for 5 in 1, 1 injection for Pneumoccocal and 1 oral for Rotavirus

Even before Dr Sim start to give her the injection she is already crying, crying for milk.

I actually thought could give her milk once she finished her injections but did not expect the person infront was so long! Haiz...bad gauge of time!

Well updates for her assessment:-

Weight: 5.75kg (I knew she lost weight when she seems to drink little nowadays! Arragh!!)

Length: 60cm

Head circumference: 40cm

Now i'm trying to make her drink more! Hopefully she can gain more weight!!

Our Last Min Short Getaway Trip

Alf needs to go KL for a meeting on monday.

So he decided to drive up so ReAnne and me can follow him up to walk walk.

Basically there is nothing much to do! The shopping malls are full of people.
The only thing we enjoy is stay in the hotel room.

Same thing goes to ReAnne.

She loves the cold room and the comfortable bed!

ReAnne has been smiling alot lately!

When you talk to her, she will either talk back or smile back!

I'm still waiting for her to give me those big laugh!!

Milestones for ReAnne -- 1 - 3 mths

Milestones:-

1st mth:

Lift head for short time -- No problem on this!
Move head from side to side -- Manage to do this with no fuss on 2mth old
Make arm movements -- Have been moving the arms since birth
Bring hands to face -- Of cos, thats why all the scratches are all over the face!!
Prefer human face than shapes --
Do strong reflex movements -- Yes she can!!
Can forcus on items which are 8 to 12 inches away -- Not too sure but she loves to look at her cot mobile
Turn to familiar voices -- She seems to be able to recognise my voices
Blink at bright lights -- Hmm...who won't blink to bright lights? Well, she did! I thought is just too bright for her

2nd mth:

Can smiles -- Yes, she been smiling quite alot these days
Track objects with their eyes -- Yes! Her eyes will follow as the cot mobile turn
Make different noises -- She can make alot of different noises!! Best is her CRY!!
Repeat vowel noises like ah, ooh, uh, etc. -- I think she can talk pretty well so far!

3rd Mth:

Raise head and chest up to tummy --
Lift head up to 45 degrees --
Kick and straighten legs --
Open and shut hands --
Push down with legs when lying on a hard surface --
Reaches for dangling objects --
Shakes hand toys --
Grasps toys --
Track moving objects --

This yr chinese new year is a special year! Why?!
Because we have a new member, ReAnne Leek joining us.

Well she is still young to know what is all about! Basically she just sleep wherever we go and sweating her fats out! =P

ReAnne is already 2mths plus!! She is getting talkative. She loves to talk to people.

On CNY Eve, she started to plan how to take more angbaos with daddy!!

I'm trying to take photo of ReAnne for her passport.

1st try, i did it early in the morning when she wake up and feel most fresh!

But failed!!

The white background is a failure and she cry after a few snap for her milk!!

2nd try, in the evening after her milk.

She is more cooperative but she is not smiling at all!!

Arragh!!

Which 1 is the best??

Oh, today mum and I brought her out to white sand shopping for a short while.

Brought her there using my carrier.

She fell aslp not long after I put her in and sleep all the way for the 2hrs plus.

I guess should be very comfortable bah, if not she won't sleep for so long?!?!

Bathing Time = Torture Time?

Babies have been in waterbag for almost 10mths so by right they should be very comfortable to be in water right? But is not so true for ReAnne.

Bathing time is always a torture for her. She will scream and cry from the second you take off her clothes till you cover her with towel.

Now she is getting better. Hopefully she will enjoy bathing soon!!

ReAnne's Injection

1 mth has passed, is time for ReAnne's injection again.

This time we went to a PD at Elias Mall as is near to us so is easier.

Dr Sim seems pretty patience and good. Just that the waiting time is so long. We waited about 2hrs to see him. The nurse told us cos is a monday thats why so many people.

Sisters' Love

Ever since ReAnne came home, Reia Jie Jie will always sayang her when she is back from school and kiss here everytime. I think she is the only one who has kiss ReAnne from top to bottom, include her butt!Keekee...

So when ReAnne cry, Reia will always run to me and tell me "MeiMei cry!"

But when ReAnne grow older and start to snatch toys from Reia, will she still love her?
