The big 30 celebration

oh my oh my..........i'm 30 already!!

And this is 1mth ago thingy!!

I have so many backdated posts I don't even know where to start. =(

oh well, lets just start with my birthday celebrations bah!

As we are in Jakarta, no big party just my little humble family.

1st part of celebration, we went ....

BALI

Yes, you are right! Bali again!

We just love the food there!

Seafood and babi guling are basically what we eat whenever we are there!
And of cos, Bali cos we want to let our lil princess play sands.

Our usual routine once we reached Bali is to go Jimbaran Beach to eat Seafood.

The rest of the 1st day, we just stayed in the hotel and swim!

We thought ReAnne will be very happy to go play at the sand.

Cos she loves to play sand in her school.

But we are so so wrong!

She is more caution about not getting her legs dirty than enjoying the sands.

Well at least she do enjoyed the pool!

This time round, we included a safari trip.

We been there so many times but we never been there before. Heard people rave alot about it so we decided to go.

Reanne is all excited about the safari trip. Especially after she knows we can actually sit on the elephant, she been talking about it all the time.

 

But .....

After we sat the elephant, she never want to sit it again.

Whenever she sees elephants pictures, she will say she don't want to sit elephants and say will fall down.

The whole elephant ride is horrible!!!

To make it worst, Reanne cried the moment the elephant move its legs and i got to carry her and balance myself on the elephant with only iron bars to support us!

And we cannot turn back cos is a one way route!!

To think we pay so much more for this, I think 1 time is enough.

No more elephant rides for the Leeks!!

We also went to the water theme park in the safari itself.

Is so hot over there, so not a bad idea to dip into the water to cool down abit!

And the whole safari trip ended with a super tired girl,and a man who thinks the safari is charging too expensive!

During one of the dinners, we went to try this Naughty Nuris Ribs!

We also heard our friends talking about this and decided to try even thou is abit far from our hotel.

But no regrets, the ribs are really very tender and delicious.

To a ribs lover, Mr Leek. He thinks this ribs is much nicer than Tony Romas.

To an non-ribs lover, ME. Is nice and I won't mind eating again.

(Oh, we found out they got a branch in jakarta and we are going to try soon)

As for the sides, you can skip them if you ever go there.

As for the actual day celebration, Mr Leek brought us to an Italian Homebased Restaurant call Java Bleu.

Is a nice and homly place where I think not many people will know.

I quite like the food, I won't mind going again! =)
