"Along with all the other milestones of infant growth, there is one that puts babies on the move for the first time - crawling. Where once Baby was immobile, content sitting and exploring what was within his reach, suddenly a whole new world opens up: the world of mobility."
Our little princess is learning how to crawl now. Initially, she will wiggle her body to turn 360 degree. And now, she can crawl but ........ Backward!?!?
"Crawling backward is probably the result of uneven muscle tone (arms a little stronger than legs), but that will soon right itself as Baby progresses in developing gross motor skills. They will soon shift from reverse to forward on their own with no intervention from parents. As long as they get moving in some way, they are perfectly normal, no matter which direction they choose to go first." (Quoted from Huggies website)
And now, I will be busy carrying her back to her playmat as she keeps crawling out of it now!! Hopefully this little princess can figure how to move forward soon.
She also kind of love to be on tummy and lift up her hands and legs. She enjoy doing it. At first she needs 1 hand to support but now she can lift it high for a few seconds!! Just like what is shown on the pic.
Not sure why she is doing this. Maybe she want to rock herself when she can lift long enough?? Let's wait and see.
Last but not least is a pic of her trying to crawl!!
