Banana & Chocolate Muffins

As my hub loves to eat banana so he always buy them. But he always cannot finish the bananas!! So give me a good chance to try my banana muffins again!!
This time round i used another recipe and added some chopped chocolate in. I usually don't praise myself but then trust me, this time round muffins are really very nice!! They are soft, moist and banana never goes wrong with chocolate!!

*Just look at the melted chocolate!! *

I used half of the ingredients so we do not have to eat so many muffins. I only got 5 muffins this time round!

Ramly Burger

Hub asked me to use the left over beef patty to do Ramly burger for his breakfast on saturday. So I did do since we still got the tomatoes and veggies left. This time round my egg is not burnt like last time. I used very small fire to slowly cook it and in the end the color turn up very nice. Happy with my Ramly burger!!
In the end, hub is sick and got no appetite. So in the end the burger end up in my stomach. :x

Krispy Kreme

When we are back in US, Tom & Da jie brought us to this place where they sell very delicious doughnuts. Initially when Da jie said they are bringing us to eat doughnuts for breakfast, i was still thinking is already very common back in Singapore.
But when we reached there, is different story. This Krispy Kreme do it in the way they have a open concept kitchen. Which means you can see how the doughnuts are made. Very nice and interesting. Their speciality is their original doughnuts with just icing sugar over it. Is very simple but do trust me, is nice!
The doughnuts we ate are all freshly out from the oven! Hot doughnuts, hot chocolate and cold weather. Wor...hor nice.Oh, my main motive is to tell my Da jie, Krispy Kreme is here over in Indonesia at Jarkata!! And they are very near to our house. The Doughnuts here got more varieties but then again the original is still the best. But the thing is, they don't really serve hot doughnuts here which is a minus minus point.

I still think eating hot doughnuts, drinking hot chocolate in a cold weather is the Best!!

Finally .... is here

The curtains are finally here. After a long wait of 3 - 4 mths with many hip cups, the house is complete!!
This set of curtains, really "来的不容易"!First is the toopid shop people lost our order list, so no choice we got to go back and choose all over again. While choosing, those we like are either too expensive or no stock. So we spend like 1-2hrs there choosing. Then finally when we have made our choice, they called us like a week or more later and informed us that the cloth we choose is out of stock!! Arragh....People who knows my hub well will know by now he is already getting very angry. So agrued with the people and made them bring the cloths to his office to choose and tell them whichever cloth he choose they have to charge us the price of the cloth we chosen last time. In the end, hub choose the most expensive cloth.
We are actually quite worried that the curtains we choose will not be nice, but then is turn up quite nice!

Now that the curtains are up, no more sun shining onto our faces as early as 5am. And we have a few more hours of good sleep. Yipppy!!

6 Lessons to Success

Lesson 1:
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, 'I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.'
After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob, after a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 and leaves.
The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs.
When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, 'Who was that?'
'It was Bob the next door neighbor,' she replies.
'Great,' the husband says, 'did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?'

Moral of the story: If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

Lesson 2:
A priest offered a Nun a lift. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg.The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg.
The nun said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?' The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?' The priest apologized 'Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.'
Arriving at the convent, the nun sighed heavily and went on her way.
On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, 'Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.

'Moral of the story:If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

Lesson 3:
A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out. The Genie says, 'I'll give each of you just one wish.'
'Me first! Me first!' says the admin clerk. 'I want to be in the Bahamas , driving a speedboat, without a care in the world.' Puff! She's gone.
'Me next! Me next!' says the sales rep. 'I want to be in Hawaii , relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life.' Puff! He's gone.
'OK, you're up,' the Genie says to the manager.
The manager says, 'I want those two back in the office after lunch.'

Moral of the story:Always let your boss have the first say.

Lesson 4:
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing?' The eagle answered: 'Sure, why not.'
So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested.
All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson 5:
A turkey was chatting with a bull. 'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree' sighed the turkey, 'but I haven't got the energy.' 'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. They're packed with nutrients.'
The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.
He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Moral of the story: Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there..

Lesson 6
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.
The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.
A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

Just for laugh.....kee

American Style Burger

Today is a public holiday in Indonesia, which means both of us can sleep late!! Yeah....
I think 1 good thing about indonesia is that they seems to have more holidays than Singapore. Like they got lots of reasons to declare Holidays. Oh well, whatever it is, is a good thing for us. =P
Today I made Burger for our breakfast. Why is American? That is because the meat patty i do is so thick. Together with my veggies, tomatoes, onions and prickles, the burger turns up so huge. Just made us remember what we ate when we are back in US.

The burger is nice and we finished the whole thing again. Opss....

Yogurt Inc

Today Alf & I went to Pluit to look for Yanping (my childhood fren) who opens a yogurt shop there with her bf. This is the first time we go there. Always thought that their place is so far but actually it takes only less than 1 hour during peak hours. Which means if i go there during odd hours, it should takes less than half an hour?!
Yeah, another place to go and most importantly someone to talk to when i'm bored!
Their place is small but very comfy. Although the mall is new and alot of shops are not open yet, their crowd still consider quite ok. So when the mall is official open, i'm sure there will be more crowds.
